Four Months and Three Days later My Shoes Finally Come In!

YES!!! After many parades and events my gille brougs finally come in, they were supposed to take 3-5 days then they sent the dreaded e-mail that any online shopper has nightmares about…the item you selected is on backorder and will take 2+ weeks. Well let me tell you it did not take 2+ weeks it took exactly 4 months 3 days and 2 hours after I placed my order to get them…and haha now they have finally got here, they are with out a doubt the most comfortable shoes I have yet to tread on, haha better be since they a special pipers version of the gille broug.

While we’re talking about parades I had another one this past weekend with the Pittsburgh Firefighters Memorial Pipe Band it was in Boswell near Summer Set, about 2 miles from the Que Creek mine…anywho so it was Our fearless leader, Doug, Greg the guy who is the fearless leaders assistant and Joe, Ryan crazy little piper son of Doug and me that concludes the pipe corp. for that parade Eric and Larry made the drum line and that’s all the went to this little back water coal town.

Chief aka Paul or narskey (the latter two are his names but he calls Doug chief so we everyone just calls him chief) he’s the guy that walks pirate the Dalmatian with us anywho him and his brother just built a house for them and their mom and their two dogs on the verge of death and pirate who’s a pup.

So chief’s brother takes a liking to Greg and starts spilling his life story at him and since Chief told us the parade told us the parade starts at 4 and it started at 6 we go to get something to eat…well Eric and myself are in our Kilts and everyone else is in street threads…so they leave their stuff at Chiefs, and his family house. Chiefs brother hunts Greg down to tell him his stuff was at his house, and to spill more of his life story and Eric and I are holding back laughs cause he is like yeah I was a cop I had some wives got mob ties and got a gun and did I mention I like to fight and sue people and got a gun so we finish eating and ditch him…

The parade was interesting I got to march front and center!

That was that.

One the way home Ryan was talking to me and Eric he’s like yeah my friend told me that the dumpsters with BFI stamped on them stands for Black Family Inside…. we thought that was funny (to clear things up were not racist).

Greg is a software engineer and works with a company in LA…. and on the way home were talking about what he does and he was like “ Yeah the technology industry thrives on the accessibility of porn and gaming…” needless to say everyone in the car including 12 year old Ryan busts out laughing.

That’s the end of the bagpipe weekend event.

The day before I met nick’s cousin Evan he’s nice I think some of my brothers friends might have scared him we played flashlight tag…unlike his puritan cousin he is pro bagpipes ( yes!) and anti Fantasia haha thusly he is cool in my books…and must not be tone def like nick….

Sunday was the 1st day of the pony league world series, Cranberry is hosting them….

Tyler had a game they were winning 5 2 in the 3rd….so the other team scores some runs in the 4th and are winning by some like 11 8 and Tyler hits a nice ball to the gap in left center…two runs score and later more score so its 11 10 that was the closes we got to them cause the final score was them 28 us 10…..ouch that sucks today was his 2nd game in the 2 game elimination and his team lost by 16 runs ouch…..

Well the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson is gonna be soon and tomorrow will be like 102 and I have pipe band practice so im gonna chill.
